About radio
Xpression FM is a vibrant and award-winning campus radio station for the University of Exeter in England, broadcasting live and online 24 hours a day. Initially founded as University Radio Exeter (URE) in 1976, the station has been a staple of the University's student-led initiatives, offering a platform for students to explore various opportunities regarding radio broadcasting.
The station, which has its roots under the stairs of Devonshire House on the campus of the University of Exeter, began as a low power broadcasting unit using induction loop aerials to broadcast to halls of residence. Over the years, it evolved and was allowed to use a low-power FM system in the late 1990s. The station was renamed "Xpression FM 87.7" at the start of 2001, symbolizing its growth and expansion.
Xpression FM has established itself as a dynamic and diverse radio station, bringing a variety of content to its listeners. Its programming includes student-focused news bulletins, discussions on University and local stories, and coverage of major global sports news. The station's news team produces daily bulletins and special shows like 'ExeFocus' and 'NewsHour', while the sports team broadcasts two shows a week, including the long-stay 'Sunday Sports Show' and 'Tuesday Night Sport'.

How is the rating calculated?
The more people listen to the radio station during the last 7 days, the higher it ranks.
Only unique plays are counted; repeatedly reloading the page or pressing “Play” multiple times does not affect the ranking.
