It is part of the British Forces Broadcasting System (BFBS), which is a registered charity that provides entertainment and information to the armed forces community. BFBS Samishran plays the best blend of Nepali and Hindi music, as well as news, features, interviews and cultural programmes. It also has a dedicated presenter, Binoddhoj Khadka, who hosts the daily show from 10am to 2pm UK time.
