The Pallid Mask

The Pallid Mask is a full-cast horror audio drama inspired by Robert W. Chambers’ The King in Yellow. Dr. Molly Bedrook searches banned literature for her next book and becomes fixated on a condemned stage play she cannot obtain. With her PhD students Zee and Carl, she uncovers disturbing stories of asylums, conspiracies, and bizarre deaths linked to the play. As they dig deeper, they follow a reality-bending path while Molly gambles that finding a surviving copy could save her career. The series is written by Jordan Acosta and produced by Alternative Stories in collaboration with Hawberk Press.
