UCB 2, the Home of Hope and Worship, is a UK-wide Christian radio station that offers a harmonious blend of praise and worship music, paired with uplifting, Bible-based teachings. Part of United Christian Broadcasters, a Christian media charity, UCB 2 is one of two national Christian radio stations operated by the organization, the other being UCB 1. Established on January 1, 2009, UCB 2 was previously known as UCB Inspirational. The station is the fruition of a vision from 1986 when UCB\'s founder, Ian Mackie, was inspired during prayer to create a national Christian radio station. Starting small, operating out of a volunteer\'s spare bedroom, UCB made its initial broadcasts via Manx Radio in the Isle of Man. From these humble beginnings, UCB has grown to reach listeners across the UK through DAB digital radio, online platforms, and even smart speakers. Listeners can tune into UCB 2 live or on-demand on the UCB Player app, which also provides information about shows and presenters.
