Essential Radio is a 24/7 music-led radio station for Ayrshire College staff, students and employers, based at the Kilwinning Campus and launched in June 2022. The station plays a mix of Top 40, Pop and Adult Contemporary music, with student-presented shows including Essential Breakfast, Essential Home Time and specialist programmes.
