Radio Cherwell

Radio Cherwell is a British radio station that has been broadcasting online and live since 1967, providing a wide range of programmes seven days a week, 24 hours a day to patients in Oxford's hospitals. Although it primarily serves three city hospitals, its broadcasts are also accessible to a wider audience over the internet. This station's mission is to create a diverse range of radio programming, offering something to suit most tastes, from music-based shows to magazine programmes, patient participation programmes, and special broadcasts.

Radio Cherwell's music-based programmes cater to a broad array of listeners, with music selections that span chart hits, rock classics, orchestral music, opera, folk, jazz, and Motown. There's a flagship children's show, "The Wicked Weekday Show," that broadcasts every Tuesday evening, and "The Weekend For Everything Show" that airs every Saturday, featuring quizzes, games, music, and plenty of fun for younger listeners.
