IBC Tamil, also known as The International Broadcasting Corporation for Tamil, is a vibrant media entity offering round-the-clock services to the Sri Lankan Tamil diaspora worldwide. Initially launched as a radio station in London in 1997, it has since evolved into a comprehensive media organization that provides 24-hour television, radio, and online services​​.

IBC Tamil has made significant strides in digital technology, investing £2 million in state-of-the-art digital studio equipment in 2015. This investment allows the channel to produce nearly all its video content in High Definition (HD) through its studios in the UK, India, and Sri Lanka. Moreover, the radio station is available on several third-party DTH satellite and OTT platforms around the world such as Asian Television Network, YuppTV, and YouTube​​.
