Abdal Hakim Murad

Abdal Hakim Murad, also known as Timothy Winter, is a distinguished Islamic scholar and intellectual, holding the position of Shaykh Zayed Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Cambridge University. He also serves as the director of studies in theology at Wolfson College, Cambridge, and is the Aziz Foundation Professor in Islamic Studies. His contributions to Islamic education include his role as the dean of Cambridge Muslim College. Murad is recognized for his research on Sufism, Ottoman educational institutions, computerized hadith databases, and Muslim-Christian relations.
