Established on September 1, 2011, it serves as the city\'s truly local community station, covering Southampton and the surrounding areas with a dynamic range of shows and features​​. As an online live radio, Voice FM broadcasts a diverse mix of programming that caters primarily to students and the youth population, offering a unique blend of contemporary hit radio and homegrown talent​. The station\'s broadcasting schedule kicks off each day with the breakfast show between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. (or 8-10 a.m. on weekends), followed by the long-running mid-morning show. The DriveTime show begins at 4 p.m., with specialist shows that deviate from contemporary pop airing from 6 p.m. Notable specialist shows include the Decades of Dance show, the Soul Train with Don Jon, and the nightly Club Mix sessions​​.
