Coast 1079 is an innovative digital radio station based in Southport, Merseyside, and was created in 2012 by a team that had previously launched Southport's Community Radio on local FM from 2006. The station was formerly known as Dune FM and now delivers a mix of adult contemporary music, classics, and specialist genres.

Listeners can tune in live online to enjoy the station's diverse offerings, produced from studios just off the mile-long boulevard, Lord Street, in Southport's town centre. The station's presenters include Aiden Bracken, Dave Wilcox, Dominic Forbes, Jon Jessop, Mike Brown, and Mike Swift, with Sarah Graves as the Station Manager.
