Coast 1079 is an innovative digital radio station based in Southport, Merseyside, and was created in 2012 by a team that had previously launched Southport's Community Radio on local FM from 2006. The station was formerly known as Dune FM and now delivers a mix of adult contemporary music, classics, and specialist genres.
Listeners can tune in live online to enjoy the station's diverse offerings, produced from studios just off the mile-long boulevard, Lord Street, in Southport's town centre.
