About the Radio Station
107 Meridian FM is a vibrant, community-based radio station serving the West Sussex town of East Grinstead and its surrounding areas, including Ashurst Wood, Crawley Down, Copthorne, Dormansland, Domewood, Felbridge, Forest Row, Lingfield, Newchapel, Sharpthorne, Turners Hill, and West Hoathly. The station, a non-profit organization run by a dedicated team of more than 40 volunteers, is proud to make a positive impact on society through the power of broadcast media. Since its first broadcast in 2006, 107 Meridian FM has grown into a platform for the local community, delivering a healthy mix of quality news reporting, special interest talk radio, current hits, and weekly dedicated shows spanning Rock, Americana, Folk, Reggae, and other specialist interests such as gardening, astronomy, books, and films. The station has been recognized with awards at the Community Radio Awards for its innovative programs.
