Arts and Crafts Essays (Version 2)

This collection of essays, edited by William Morris, covers a wide range of topics from furniture making to embroidery, bookbinding, and stone and wood carving. The essays were written by well-known artists in their field and were influential in the development of the British Arts and Crafts movement. The Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society promoted decorative arts alongside fine arts from the late 1880s until the outbreak of WWI.
