When Disciplines Meet is a podcast series from the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS) that explores interdisciplinarity in relation to major challenges facing social science research. The five episodes are hosted by Laura Anderson, an interdisciplinary researcher and Scottish Influencer of the Year for 2024/25. Guests from across the Scottish academic landscape join the show to discuss how different disciplines can collaborate to address complex issues. The series aims to highlight the importance of cross-disciplinary approaches in advancing social science understanding.
