97.5 Kemet FM is Nottingham's only urban radio station, serving as a beacon of cultural entertainment and music variety for listeners both online and offline. Launched onto the airwaves on January 27th, 2007, the station was founded by Marceline Powell to serve the needs of the African and Caribbean communities of Nottingham and surrounding areas, while also fostering unity among diverse communities across the city​​.
