Canalside Community Radio, broadcasting live online and on 102.8FM, is a cherished community radio station serving the North East Cheshire area, including Macclesfield, Bollington, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Poynton, and surrounding towns and villages​​.

Established in 2004, the station is housed in Bollington's historic Clarence Mill and is run largely by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis, with no shareholders​​. Its first broadcast was on 4th May 2005 for 28 days on a temporary licence in support of the Bollington Festival. The station has since grown and evolved, becoming an integral part of the local community.

The station's lifeblood is the support and donations it receives from sponsors and grants, which allow it to continue providing its invaluable service to the community​​.
