Radio Lear (Leicester Emergent Arts Radio) is a volunteer-run community radio station built around experimental sound, sound art, field recording, improvised performance and participatory storytelling. It broadcasts on DAB+ in Leicester and Loughborough and online, and is also carried on the Shropshire small-scale DAB multiplex. Programmes are produced with local artists, producers and community contributors rather than following conventional music-radio formats.
