Soundart Radio 102.5 FM is a unique arts radio station based in Dartington, Totnes, Devon, UK. Founded in 2006 by Dartington College of Arts graduates Nell Harrison and Lucinda Guy, the station is considered one of the leading specialist arts broadcasters in the UK. The station initially started as a student radio station and transitioned to a full-time Community Radio Licence in February 2009. It broadcasts to a 5 km radius around the transmitter at Dartington Hall, reaching a diverse and engaged audience.
Soundart Radio is not just a platform for broadcasting; it is an inclusive community for everyone. It operates as a non-profit arts organisation, offering membership to all interested parties. The station provides training and workshops aimed at fostering creative use of radio and sound. It is a member of Radia and positions itself as 'a place to listen, play and experiment'.
