Absolute Radio Country is a British digital radio station, owned and operated by Bauer Radio and available in select areas via DAB and across the U.K. online, on Smart Speaker, and via the Absolute Radio App as part of the Absolute Radio Network. The station originally launched as Country Hits Radio on 5 April 2019, positioning itself as the UK\'s first national country music radio station. It was rebranded as Absolute Radio Country on 17 May 2021, alongside changes to the availability of Absolute\'s digital stations. The station focuses on modern country music and is aimed at listeners aged 25–44. It reported an average of 257,000 listeners per week in early 2020. As per the latest official audience figures from July to December 2021, the station had 205,000 total listeners per week, with each listener tuning in for an average of 4.8 hours per week. The programming primarily comes from their studios in London, with some programming taken from Nashville country station WKDF from Sunday to Thursday, 7pm - 10pm. The station has also hosted guest shows from various country music artists including Maddie & Tae, Tenille Townes, Elvie Shane, Sam Palladio, Brothers Osborne, and Charles Esten. Listeners can enjoy the station\'s blend of new and classic country anthems live online. The station offers a varied schedule with shows like the Dave Berry Breakfast Show and The No Repeat Guarantee with Baylen Leonard.
