Isle of Wight Radio, an Independent Local Radio station based in Newport, Isle of Wight, is a key element of local media. The station commenced its transmission on 15th April 1990, initially broadcasting on 1242 kHz from Briddlesford Farm AM transmitter. The switch to FM took place in March 1998, and currently, its main transmitter is at Chillerton Down on 107FM, with three low-power relays on 102FM in Cowes, Ventnor, and Ryde.
This radio station broadcasts online, live, and is available for listeners to tune in through their website or their mobile app which is available on both the App Store and Google Play. The station is now part of the Total Sense Media family, after merging with Media Sound Holdings, now Total Sense Media, in October 2012.

The station is known for its vibrant schedule, including popular shows like "Topping In The Morning" with Paul, Hayley, Emily, and Heather that airs from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Other notable shows include those hosted by Nick Osborne from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and David Francis from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
