Fresh West Midlands

Fresh West Midlands is a lively, community-oriented radio station that broadcasts live from studios in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, online and on the Small Scale Birmingham Multiplex​​. Established in March 2018​​, the station originally opened under the name Hit1FM in 2013 as a hobby radio station, designed to target ages 16–24 living and working in the area​.

Today, Fresh West Midlands maintains a strong presence at local events, linking local residents to their community and offering a range of daily programming that includes a breakfast show, generally automated programming throughout the day, and presenter-led shows in the evening spanning a variety of genres​. The station has evolved from its modest beginnings in a bedroom to purpose-built studios, serving a population of up to 900,000 people in the local area​.
